"To be honest when I first started planning I had no intention of hiring a planner or a day of coordinator but when I found our perfect venue, the Union on 8th, it was a required part of the deal. So I asked the venue owner for recommendations and Marilyn was the one I settled on because she was friendly, experienced, and super reasonably priced in comparison to others.
Now after the fact, I am so glad that we had Marilyn there with us. She met with us about 2 weeks before to make sure she understood our expectations and vision and then confirmed everything leading up the event so I didn't have to.
On the day she made everything such a breeze.
She kept everything running on time, anticipated our needs, and oversaw all the vendors and clean up without ever being obtrusive into our friends and family time. Her efforts allowed me to be totally relaxed and she handled all the responsibilities that probably would have fallen on my mother had she not been there.
At the end of the night my car was loaded with all our gifts, take away boxes of left over food and cake, and all we had to do was enjoy our perfectly executed sparkler exit. All in all Marilyn allowed it to be a super smooth stress free day and for that I am very appreciative!"
